Lizzie's feelings and order of episodes.

I'm confused. In the episode "Clue-less", where they have the murder mystery, Lizzie finds out Gordo has feelings for her, and it's speculated that she returns them. So why, in the season finale, does she talk about dating guys in high school and such? And then in the movie, she falls for Paolo and totally forgets about Gordo's feelings for her/vice versa? Or is she just ignoring the feelings on purpose? Haha. I've just been watching the re-runs on freeform and I'm curious. It could be that the producers just aired them in a weird order, but still...that bothers me. XD

Lizzie was in the dark up until the mystery party. When Kate blurts it out, she's visibly flustered. Could be that Lizzie was waiting for Gordo to ask her out first and since he never did, she thought it was over. Or maybe she didn't want to risk their friendship or she just wasn't mature enough to reciprocate his feelings.

Kate references this episode in the movie. Lizzie asks why Gordo helped her and Kate says something like, "your seriously asking me that?" I always thought that was a callback.

I think it was. It was nice to see her finally acknowledge it in the last ep where she missed him
