I see all these discussions over whether or not he was an alien and I'm wondering if anyone thinks the author's intent in the book would hold any weight? I haven't read it but I just wikipedia'd it out of curiosity and it looks like it's pretty clear in the book that prot was an alien.

What I don't understand is why some people don't seem to be able to simply accept that the movie is deliberately ambiguous and thus open to personal interpretation.
Nah the books let you know he's an alien and by the 4th a new K Pax alien has cme to earth so K pax is real on the books no doubt
