It's got to many racial jokes that aren't funny, and it's just full of racism in general where it's not even that enjoyable.

Racist scenes were not funny...Period.
I wouldn't have cared if the racist scenes were well made & funny...but they're not & Martin didn't pull it off.
I found almost all the jokes to be cheap & boorish.
Dialog was copied from other movies (men in black, etc)
The target practice scene was taken from men in black, the scenes were Martin gets shot were copied from another movie & many other scenes were copied or overplayed.
I don't mind the odd copied scene...but the whole dialog was copied!
There are plenty more black & white cop movies better than this 1 & I now know why the rating is so low.
I don't know about any copying. The movie could have been ok had Lawrence not acted racist, childish, immature and just 'over the top' predictable the entiere movie.
The plot is as good as Beverly Hills Cop and Zahn is great. There are some ok laughs in this movie.
By the way. This movie went straight to video in Denmark.
