Is it that guy Richard's (the French cop/bad guy) child?

Remember when she was talking to Jet Li about why she does "this type of work"....She said sounds as if she had met Richard when she was pregnant, and things were tough for her because she was knocked up without being married. Also, that Richard talked so smooth and that is why she came to Paris....and that is when she ended up on the street.
