best martial action movie.

this is by far the best martil art movie of the last 10 years and they do not make movies like this anymore whitch is sad becasue the action sceans are bloody awsome when he fights them twins so good awsome i learnt the fake punch from that great.
who else thinks movies should go back to the old days and make are couple of old classic action movies, like face off, con air, cliffhanger, bab boys, last boy scount, point break, the movie with relentless action.
miamie vice was meant to be action but it flopped and died in the butt because it was the worst movie of 06 comen bring back movies like these who agrees.

District b13 and Ong Bak are much better than Kiss of the dragon, this movie was pretty cheesey. Just my Opinion though.

Totally the opposite for me with the movies. District 13 was good and I really like the Parkour action scenes. Very cool but Kiss of the Dragon was my favorite between the three. Ong Bak haven't seen it yet.

For english speaking people, don't watch District 13 dubbed. It looks stupied and you'll end up giving the movie up. The dubbing is cheesy.

Maybe in your next life, you'll believe the Zodiac when it tells you to cut the red wire.

ong bak was *beep* no offense. super long fight scenes which grew old quickly... corny lines... and it made you see that jet li could easily kick his ass (which is true... jet li would not let him anywhere near his bones). this movie's fight scenes were also extremely realistic.

No, Fearless is his last ever Hong Kong movie.
He will do movies, but not Hong Kong~.

This is one of the best martial arts movies in a long time just cause of Bridget Fonda. God, the chemistry she and Jet had was really solid. I was very impressed by the story, and not just the action (which was great as well). Why does this have such a low score on IMDB?

My mistake...four coffins.

The TRANSPORTER had some excellent fight scenes in it, with some very original styling. Inside a bus, combining knive jabs and throwing, kicking, and punching, and martial arts moves.
The fight scene in the bus garage with the oil spilled and the bicycle footpegs used as traction kickers was good. Also used the slippery oil to escape holds and glide across the floor to escape.
Then there was the firehose scene that useed various moves there, and the pipes scene where he used the bars as uneven parallel kick platforms...

I'd say THE TRANSPORTER should be way up there on the scale. VERY GOOD, very original, or at least definitely a flavor of it's own in copying anything else.

To the guy that said Jet Li could easily beat Tony Jaa. Watch the Protector. It's basically Ong Bak times 10 and is all out action. No wires no CGI. Kiss of the Dragon is good but Unleashed(same production team as Kiss) is better. The fight scene at the end with the white robed guy is amazing. I say it goes Protector, Unleashed, Ong Bak, Kiss of the Dragon.
