Question about Briget Fonda. Was it just me or?

Is it just me that find her speak so fast?. Does she normally speak faster all the time or it was written into her character in this movie? (Kiss of the Dragon)

It's her interpretation of the character. I, for one, thought the way she portrayed the character's speech helped convey to us the character's innocence and heart, in spite of her profession. It's what made the character convincing.

She's stuck in the prostitution world and you can tell she really wants out.She really is innocent but shes got no other choice but than sell her self because the crooked French police has her daughter.

Righto! The best "hooker with a heart of gold" on film, IMO.
