Worst Extra In Film History!!!!!

I quite liked this movie. For a action packed martial arts movie it was above my expectations.
However this film contained the worst extra in film history. It was one of the most laughable things I've ever seen.
In the hotel scene at the beginning of the film when Jet Li climbs down a floor and enters another person's suite the guy lying in his bed is awful.
When Jet Li enters he just gives a casual glance as if it happens all the time. I would be a little bit curious about a random guy climbing into my hotel room from the outside on a multistory building.
But the best bit is when Richard's thugs charge into his room, armed to the teeth with guns. They all charge in a point their gun's at the guy in his bed. He doesn't even react!!! He just look's at them with mild curiosity. I don't know about you but I would be $hitting myself if that happened.

I think you are talking about the British dude...I think that was a joke made towards Brits really...about their properness...Someone comes through their room-How odd,someone storms their room-How dare they,I'm right to be here,what's the problem now?

it was made as a joke their potting guns at him and he's stairing down the barrel like he dosn't care, it's funny haha!

You are quite right. That scene was meant to be funny. It brought a bit of levity to the otherwise serious and action packed nature to the rest of the film. Same can be said for the scene in which the hooker asked Jet Li if she could use the bathroom at the restaurant and upon being told "NO!" proceeded to squat down in the doorway to take a piss!

lol you know what, I thought the exact same thing! I was like "wtf? why is he so expressionless?" but yeh i guess it mightive been put in as a joke

Haha I watched it recently and thought the same, I spent the next couple of minutes contemplating how I would react to that and came to the conclusion that it would be more than mild alarm, i'd also assume they were nicking my laptop.

The reason for his expression:

He was alone in his room looking at stuff that he knows he shouldnt have been looking at on his laptop and then some Chinese dude just walks in.
His reaction is omg lol wtf?
Hence his facial expression

In all honesty I would probably react in a similar way. Probably because I'd be too scared to react.

Happens all the time in Foreign hotels. Same thing in one of the Bourne films.

Jet entering the room from the balcony is so random that I think the shock of the whole situation would've caused me to react the same way, and the suddenly alarming ordeal of Richard's goons rushing in pointing guns at me sure as hell would've been scary but I would've formulated that they are simply after the strange man that just left my room which would've probably resulted in me having the same reaction as him to that scenario.

A boat that floats on water can also sink in it.
