Which is better? I'm making a comparison because they're both Luc Besson action flicks which came out one after the other, similar in that they both trake place in France. I like KOTD better. More dramatic feeling, more action.

shareI don't know why, but I hate the Transporter. I mean, most action fans love it, but I don't know why I don't like the Transporter. I don't the think action was that great. And after he beat those guys up in the oil fight or whatever, I just turned off my DVD player.

shareWell, to be brutally honest - i liked Transporter, not because of the acting, or the plot.. i liked it because Jason Statham with or without his shirt, is one hell of a lot sexier than Jet Li without his shirt. Both movies are about a strong lead man who gets involved with some ding-a-ling who has information on the bad guy and wants REVENGE. Fight scenes, car chase scenes, both leading ladies trying to have sex with the hero (out of gratitude and attraction - of course) and ... as predictable as it seems, in the end, the good guy wins..
Bourne Identity beats them both because the Matt Damon is hot, he can act, and the leading lady in this movie for once - wasn't very attractive AT ALL - but had far better acting skills in 2 different languages - big nose and all!
some days, it's not worth chewing through the restraints..

Even though Transporter is a nice action flick, there's no competition here.
KOD just plain kicks ass. I'd like to see more bad-assa ction in the same vain as this and, say, "Exit wounds".

KOD definitely because it had so many over-the-top action scenes and was rated R. The Transporter never should've been rated PG-13. It made the focus more on the story than the fight scenes. (I think only the oil scene matched the action in KOD.) Who goes to a martial arts movie looking for a plot? (But, if I had to compare, KOD's was tighter.)
Transporter wins for lead character though: Frank's way more charismatic than Johnny.
Also, Bridget Fonda was marginally less annoying than the Chinese girl. Ugh.
Kiss Of The Drangon. At least it's not over hollywooded....not a word but eat me. You know what i mean.

althougth the transporter is a great movie the kiss of the dragon is better
shareI'm a huge Statham fan and I would have to say Kiss of the Dragon is better because it was more fun and dramatic to watch. Transporter was fun but it felt kind of rushed at the end (what happened to the OTHER trailer?!).
