Lol French police

Open fire everywhere. Automatic heavy weaponry no less. In hotel, on a bridge, in tunnel, alleyway.

At least in American movies (like Rush Hour) you hear "GET DOWN!" before police starts spraying their bullets (whether the bystanders had enough time to reaction is a different question.)

Here it's just, pulls out gun and shoot.

In real life, the French police don't have firearms, they just lift their arms and the suspect is rendered unconscious.

I thought that French police pull out & wave their handkerchief, & then the suspect lays down to get it from behind.

Regardless, France has a powerful military -- nuclear bombs & awesome fighter jets. If they'll ever be used to defend freedom (for NATO or itself) is another thing.

Oh, this movie is supposed to be typical of reality, right.

Automatic weapons (aka machine guns) means -- continuous rounds firing upon holding the trigger -- faster than semi-auto, which is one round per pulling the trigger (most guns are like that).

Is there really much of a distinction, in the movie, between semi-automatic weapons & "automatic" as you typed? Secondly, "heavy weaponry" (as you typed) would mean larger bullets (& higher velocity) for metal objects or concrete -- as I understand.

BTW, I've never shot a gun, nor know much about guns, but using basic knowledge & common sense... Too bad you're lacking.

You really should know more & be more specific before posting your ignorant crud. What was your point anyway? This film was made to be of the fight & shoot genre.
