What in the hell was wrong with Inspector Richard? He killed people liked he breathed air! When he was chasing Jet Li in the hotel, he accidently kills three people while gunning for Jet Li. And he also kills one of his own guys when he tells his men to check the vent. One of his goons says "I think-" and is then shot dead by Richard who replies with "Don't think!" This was one out of control villain.

shareRichard was a complete psychopath with no heart for anyone. His men, his daughter (Jessica), the Chinese Consul that came over when he lied and falsely accused Li of killing Sang right to their face. He head butted one of his own men for keeping one of the recorded tapes of Sang's murder. He told one of his man to shoot heroin into his daughter while he watched, when she said she doesn't do it anymore. He also tries to kill Jessica and kidnaps her daughter. He had no sympathy for nobody.

Actually it was hinted in the film that Jessica was his ex-wife and Isabel was his daughter.
