Remake of First Blood

You can't help but draw comparisons to First Blood. Tommy trained Benicio to be deadly and now has come to help track him down because he "lost it", same as Trautman did with Rambo. Booby traps, homemade weapons and a forest setting? See First Blood. I also couldn't help but think of other Tommy Lee Jones films like The Fugitive and U.S. Marshals. Here's Tommy running around chasing a guy through woods and rivers again. Those comparisons aside and the fact that some of it was way beyond belief, The Hunted was still entertaining. Both actors have done much much better of course. I don't feel either was given much to work with here anyway. Benicio's character would've benefited from a little more depth. For me it's probably a one time viewing and it's no First Blood or Fugitive either.
