How much of this film is Benicio in? Cos I want to watch more of his films, but if he's barely in them it hardly seems worth it.

Benicio Del Toro is a lead in this movie. Both him and Tommy Lee Jones are excellent. It's a great movie. I recommend it

Yea, he plays Hallam. 21 Grams is an amazing movie as well with Del Toro and Sean Penn. It's one you should check out.

but as an assassin, he kinda flits in and out of camouflage.

I've never seen him in another movie but I have to say, if he is normally a warm, caring guy off screen then he is indeed a good actor. Creepiest looking psycho sob I've ever seen. He didn't appear to have blood running through his veins - like he would be cold to the touch. Make up ??? Seriously, he looked like a walking corpse to me. No sense of humanity in him.
