I have to confess something...
...because I'm finishing the course and I can't stand it anymore. This is my point of view, you don't need to believe me, so read and judge for yourself.
I don't enjoy action movies, they have basically the same actors (and they're not so good also, the best thing in a movie that the actors don't look like actors) and it's so boring but I enjoy "The Hunted", in the beginning I wasn't to sure I decided to rent this movie and than, maybe, I would buy the DVD. I searched for comments about this movie and they were worst as possible I was really astonished, really worried and I concluded that already did happen, same situation I was so worried before watching "The Exorcist" and I was ashamed to tell the others that I've never watched and than I watched I was relieved. I thought that when this day will come I would ashamed to say the others that I watched because this movie is so underrated and I see William Friedkin like an underrated director some way and I think this is horrible and unfair, I really do.
I study Cinema and I never, really never told to my colleagues that I would watch this movie because they think the same what I said before about Friedkin, they prefer Ingmar Bergman, Alfred Hitchcock, John Ford etc and also don't like Bogdanovich, Coppola, Spielberg, De Palma and they don't express any excitement about Scorsese (and they love Woody Allen, do you understand it?), it really gets me furious because of course I love Bergman, Hitchcock and Ford's movies and I love to study their styles but they're now dead, they don't do movies anymore (unfortunately) but that's the awful truth (for some people) and they give more importance to Cohen Brothers etc and some other directors they considered more "alternatives" (to me that's just an excuse) not so much to the New Hollywood Directors also gets me mad, because they forgot that Cohen Brothers were inspired by them and I am really glad that they're alive, I won't extend a red carpet for them because I am not a hysterical person, I don't idolize them but I feel respect and this respect inspires me to keep attention on their movies old and new, I don't care, I just want to watch but if I like or not some movies, what can I do? I shall not enjoy all the movies, but I enjoy most of them.
