The treadless shoes

anybody know anything about these shoes? Brand names, places to purchase? anything is appreaciated.

They're probably just very worn-in? I knew a Military Scout who said they wore treadless so the enemy couldn't pick up their tracks, but again, his just looked very worn-in to me.

I would think these wouldnt be good shoes to wear for the environment that they were in. Both knew how to track extremely well. They both had to go over slippery wet conditions with some rough terrain. Why wear a shoe that has no tread?

So as not to leave an incriminating sole print. LT recognized them, as I'm sure he'd instructed all his trainees to wear them.
