shareThis movie was just on TV and obviosuly I watched it otherwise I would not mention it. All through I was adament that his daughter was her, great acting and accent, though I don't know if I would have watched it just for her, Connoly is the main draw.

Emily is great, a big role if also a small role compared to some other actors in this. She is also a bit younger than age 13, could be 11 or 12.
For me this does have value as one of Emily's earliest roles. My guess is that such as Van Hudgens were way too influenced by their earliest roles, that it can get in the way of the watch-ability of later roles, (eg Van Hug in Thirteen), but that if this feature was an influence on Emily then it would be a nice influence? I would really like to find a disk of The Echo Of Thunder (1998).
