This "movie" was so incredibly BAD....I could only stomach about 15 minutes of it when I saw it on TV. It isn't funny at all like the original cartoon, and I felt embarrassed for the actors. The CGI was AWFUL....especially Scooby Doo. HOW the hell did this cost $84 million to make!? The company that produced the CGI must have over-charged for the CGI animation (they are greedy, untalented PIGS).

Salaries probably accounted for a chunk of the budget;Buffy was in full swing at the time it came out so SMG got a good payday I'm betting plus both Lillard and Prinze came off a few successful movies.

And let's not forget the jerk move of making Scrappy Doo the bad guy.
