Not enough Bagua in 'The One'....a let down

Only towards the end did the good JetLi use Bagua to fight against the Bad JetLi's Hsing-i.What a total let down.I have hoped to see more bagua moves and evasive tactics that are so famous in bagua's system but it seems 85% of the time, both used fists and that meaned Hsing-i was predominant most of the time.
Bagua is mostly palm techniques and has more circular movements than Hsing-i or Taichi.Let's hope there are more movies out there to expose bagua to the world.

Everything changes.

Never fully noticed that before but you have a fair point, I agree. Right now I'm very into internal Chinese martial arts like bagua, taiji, etc, and I love when movies cover more obscure martial arts. At the time of this movie I had no idea what bagua or tsing yi were, so they brought me some awareness. Would have been awesome to have the bagua feature more than the small part of the fight, and the solo practice he does.

Kung fu movies are like porn. There's 1 on 1, then 2 on 1, then a group scene...
