Hey howcome they can do this?

OK an exploding black hole creates a new universe. But then howcome they have what seems like a catalog of destinations in the machine that they have kept on file? You see them run through various universes near the beginning of the movie when they read out Yu Law's charges..

So does that mean once you go to one universe you can revisit?

Black holes are the result of a collapsed star. They do not explode.

Those are "discovered" universes. And black holes aren't formed everyday. Somehow that machine allows them to select a specific universe to connect to.

So does that mean once you go to one universe you can revisit?

Why would it mean that?

No what I mean is that if a universe exists in their catalog it can be visited many times.

Okay. Then I'm not sure what you're asking.

Yes, they have many universes cataloged in their system that they can visit whenever a wormhole opens. They somehow manipulate one end which opens in that little room, and then somehow manipulate which universe the other end connects to. How they do that is never explained.

Also, some of the universes are "uninitiated"(like Gabes universe). They do not know about interdimensional travel.

What exactly qualifies a universe to become initiated isn't explained either, as far as I recall.
