Redhead Who Released the Mouse/Bomb....

Didn't see her listed in the credits...but who was that hot redhead that came to watch Yulaw get sent to Hades, and released the mouse-bomb from her shoe?

Got my own question answered, after watching a "Making Of" documentary on the DVD. She was Carla Gugino in a redhead wig! Carla actually played 3 parts in this movie.

She is not his T.K. and from his standpoint he would only be making his t.k. better

Except she isn't his lover in this universe, and he knows it very well. Keep in mind that he was an inter-dimensional cop. He understands that though a person looks the same in one universe as they do in another, they are not the same person.

Not to mention, he doesn't care about anyone\anything aside from gaining this ultimate power he's after.

And you meant "callous" or "callus." Just sayin'.

I got that it wasn't his lover ... figured the whole thread statements sort have mentioned that ...

That wasn't my point. My point was that he KNOWS it isn't his lover, so he has no sentimental attachment to her. He has no reason to want to keep her alive because she's very clearly not the same woman who would blow up a prison to help him escape.

What she looks like is irrelevant. He's probably seen T.K.s all over the mutliverse. This isn't his first trip to the zoo.

And again, what makes you think Yulaw even cared about the woman who helped him escape? He doesn't seem to care about anything aside from getting more powerful. Just because she helped him doesn't mean HE feels any particular affection for HER.

Who was the third one? I only remember 2.

reply

T.K. the woman who helps Yulaw escape and the woman Gabe meets at the end of the film.

Oh, that's only two. The woman at the end IS T.K. and the dog is their Ollie. Jason sent him back earlier in time to when they met.

No it isn't. It's not a time machine, it sends you to another parallel universe but it doesn't shift you forward or backward in time.

And that wouldn't make sense anyway, because then there would be 2 Gabe Laws living in that universe. The one who has yet to time travel, and the one we followed through the movie. So what happens to the past version of Gabe Law?

There is also NEVER any indication that the machine can be used for time travel.

Not to mention the universe he ends up in looks NOTHING like the one he originated in. It's much more futuristic than the world he started in. How did they have more advanced cars in Gabes past?

No. The real answer is Funsch sent Gabe to a universe where Gabe doesn't exist or was killed by Yulaw. This leaves the door open for Gabe to meet T.K. in another universe without having to worry about running into his temporal double.

That makes a little more sense, although she's only listed in the 2 parts.🐭

Eh, is it really hard to tell? Anyway though damn she was fine in this flick. Best thing about it easily.

I have an unbelievably long ignore list.

It's possible that Yu was not that involved with the redhead in his 'multiverse cop' dimention, just close enough that she'd help him escape, so he really didnt feel anything for TK when he shot her

reply

It's the same actress that plays T.K.. She's connected to Jet Li's character in at least 3 universes.
