Vin Diesel should get an oscar for this. He's Amazing!

What an amazing performance by Vin Diesel. The movie as a whole wasn't very good, but my God Vin was just absolutely brilliant. Vin is very versatile and can play any role which is rare nowadays. He is definetely by far the best actor of the modern times, and this performace in man apart is one of the best performances by an actor in Cinema history. I will be shocked if he does not receive an oscar nomination.

Thats funny.

reply

Best actor of modern times? um.. heh.. ever heard of Robert DeNiro or Al Pacino?

I really like Vin and all, but calling him the best actor of modern times is a hell of a stretch. He was pretty good in this movie for what little opportunity the material gave him, but Oscar-winning is overly generous.

reply

I don't think it's that much of a stretch. Could you see Robert Deniro or Al Pacino in there younger days playing in this movie. No way they would look ridiculous. Vin Diesel is a far better actor than Pacino and Deniro ever were. He has a certain natural strength, carisma, and versatility that are way out of Pacino and Deniro's league. Im positive Deniro and Pacino are in awe of Vin Diesel's acting ability as should everyone.

reply

hahahaha okay, I get it now ;)

reply

and to further point. by the time de niro is diesels age. he had already done godfather part 2 and taxi driver. 2 of his best films. so please that statement about him looking ridiculous, is ridiculous in itself.

reply

I take it you have obviously not seen The Godfather or Taxi Driver, have you? You've got to be kidding me when you say Vin has natural strength, carisma, and versatality that are way out of De Niro's and Pacino's league. Those two are probably laughing at Vin Diesel. When Diesel is compared to those two actors, will be the day I die.

I would have gone with you to the end. Right into the very fires of Mordor.

reply

i thought this was his worst film ever. and as to go down in history as one of the worst films ever. but that is only my opinion. aparantly i must of missed the point of the film. hes a cop loses partner goes on revenge.... what else was there to this film. other than a silence of the lambs scene and feel.

i apologise to all fans of the film.. im glad you enjoyed it. but it just wasnt my cup of tea and i felt it had been done so many times before

Ok, Louie1975, are you being for real or just joking around on these posts? So far I've read that you think the "godfather" is the worst movie of all time, that "how to lose a guy in 10 days" is the best movie since "citizen kane", and that vin diesel deserves an oscar for "a man apart". Are you actually being serious?

reply

I'm totally serious on all three counts. The Godfather is a horrible movie and the worst movie ever made. How to lose a guy is the second best movie ever made, while Citizen Kane is number 1. It is a fact that Vin Diesel is the best modern actor, maybe the best ever. People could you imagine if Vin Diesel was in How to lose a guy in 10 days. Wow that masterpiece a script and Vin's gifted acting ability would allow How to lose a guy in 10 days to actually surpass Citizen Kane.

Actually Hitman I'm 32 years old, and yes I do masterbate when I see Vin Diesel. The reason is that I get so excited and turned on when I see mesmerizing acting such as Vin Diesel's. He will be remembered for his brlliance for a long long time, while other actors like Pacino and De niro will be forgotten about as soon as they stop making pictures.

i would advise the rest of you to stop rolling in your own opinions, and to actually listen to other people w/o making yourselves look like idiots. It could help in the future

just wondering as that as to be the stupidest statement ever made.

Okay, louie... I can see where you're coming from, I'm a huge VD fan myself. But, I think you've taken it a leetle beet too far, y'hear?
Pacino and De Niro will be remembered for the films they have already made, a while ago now, and will be remembered for those same films later on. I haven't seen enough real acting from VD to say he's THAT DAMN GOOD - SO much better than some of the greatest actors ever, in the history of acting.
You sound like freaking stalker material, like you're about ready to go and change the world yourself to suit VD, so calm down, and try to keep over-the-top opinions to a minimum, okay? I'm being very calm about this, but.. c'mon man! better than Pacino? After only a few films? Pacino wasn't as good as Pacino is after only a few films, my friend!
Let's see him in a few differing roles first, yah?
