It's about an extremely naive and earnest guy, Sheldon Mopes, who plays a loveable rhino named Smoochy for a living (you know, like Barney). He has no real career to speak of until Rainbow Randy, another children's show host, is fired for committing all kinds of crimes related to exploiting his fame and power. Sheldon gets his job, so Randy swears revenge. Meanwhile, Sheldon is making waves and pissing people off left and right at the network because he refuses to bend his ethics even a little bit. Hilarity ensues.
