Robin williams feel so bad about his downfall in his carrer, if he was the one that brought up the problem to himself? still a brilliant movie. strong criticisism of showbiz. pam ferris is in this as tommy, you may remember her from another succesful movie by danny devito.... principal trunchbull in matilda!!!! look at her well and youll notice. own this on dvd, great menu.

I met danny devitos best man in little italy in ny. very good man, owner of a restaurant, he is an extra for this movie.

Because he was a greedy bastard who felt he had gotten a raw deal. People like that don't put blame on themselves. He was mad that he got caught and then as his star fell he took it out on the one who replaced him. It's classic human behavior-jealousy and vengence.

I just can't see the character of Rainbow Randolf sitting himself down and conceding that he has nobody to blame but himself.
