Almond Butter

In the beginning of the film, Ed Norton's character is seen putting almond butter on his hot dog. Has anybody ever tasted almond butter? More importantly, is the color of almond butter really greenish-black?

Almond butter is thick, brown and delicious. It's really healthy too, but fattening. And surprise, it looks nothing like it did in this film. I actually found a pic that is quite representative (and a bit turdy): http://photos21.flickr.com/28221834_25e118e191.jpg

Anything else you want to know about almond butter? I eat it almost every day, so I'm quite the expert. ;P

Thank you so much for answering my question. I figured that it didn't look like that, I guess the movie wanted to portray it as nasty or something. As for further questions, I can't think of any now, but I'll be sure to ask you when I do! :)

He said it was spirulina with almond butter, which is what gave it its color. (Spirulina is a very rich green). It's also a health food.

Oh okay I see, the almond butter was mixed with spirulina. Thanks for clearing that up for me!
