Favorite Character from Death to Smoochy?

My favorite character was Tommy Cotter.

How about everyone else?

SMOOCHY!

This will probably sound strange and obsessive, but even though she barely has any screen time I have become captivated by the guitarist from Smoochy's band. The woman with long dark hair, wearing the zebra costume.
Unfortunately, she's not listed in the #$%&*@ credits!!
It's driving me mad! Mad, I tell you!

Yes! I came to this thread coming to write nearly the same thing you did. Guess I'm not the only one who found the zebra girl intriguing.

That woman is named Natasha Kinne and she is a singer.

How could you not love Spinner?

"I'll be right back Smoochy, I gotta go take a dump."

Sheer Genius :-D

reply

the hot dog vendor at the beginning of the movie.

reply

You are crazy A-Teamfan - but I love your style :D

I just loved Nora!

Apart from that you just can`t help but loving Smoochy or rather crazy Sheldon.

reply

yeah, I loved Nora too. Plus she's hot, and that's cool. I like all the characters really, especially Devito, the Irish mafia, the little person that was Randolph's partner (seinfeld alumni as well) and the assassin. And ed (or matthew as i like to think of him here) is pretty good too. We need more liberal hippie vegetarians on screen, booyeah!

reply

"Sheldon, this costume's makin' my nuts itch!"

reply

Buggy Ding Dong all the way!

I totaly agree! The casting was just great! Very good work!

As to my fav. character... well i luv them all... but ill go with Rainboy "F#%&"#$$%#" Randolph!

I luv Robin Williams and he was just hilarious here! He makes every scene work! And after One Hour Photo or insomnia watching him in DTS only makes his work here even better!

RR´s insane, not too bright but for me the character that sounds more real in the movie! He´s not all good and not all bad! HE has flaws as every human being! And the end he makes the right choice... i liked it!

And his lines were just the best... "IM GOING ON SAFARI!!!!!!!!" hehehe

Spinner would come 2nd, Smoochy, Tommy next, Nora etc etc!!!

How do you like your brandy, sir?
In a glass.

I really do not love Robin Williams but he is extremely funny in this.

Catherine Keener takes delight in being mean. She has about 20 funny lines.

And Tommy is a great character, acted perfectly by that chick.

I just loved, the mtv studios in times square, and angelo, if that is what this post is about, naming people that are only 2 seconds in the movie!!! excluding angelo.

"I gotta eat, dont I"

Uncle sandler went to the mall!!

Buddy, the Irish mob (being Irish myself), Randolph or Nora. It's quite hard to pick one though.

The character called Moochy (not Smoochy) was my favorite.

reply

I agree, Spinner was the best.

"Sheldon, this costume is making my nuts itch." How could I forget about Spinner? I found it funny when he was getting beat up he suddenly yelled, "hey what round is it?"

Mine would have to be Sheldon Mopes, Ed Norton does an amazing job as sheldon, i cannot get enough.

reply

I loved loved LOVED Rainbow Randolf, he was CRAZY, spinner was really funny too "ahhhh i miss smooch! He-a he-a was no nazi" while he was crying in tommy's huge bosom.

reply

I agree. Rainbow Randolph was great not just because of his lines, but the fact that he is a child's show host makes it even better. His personal life is such a sharp contrast to his screen persona, and he makes it work.

I perfer Sheldon over Smoochy. Norton did a great job as a calm, peaceful vegan, but he was able to draw back to his 'American History X' role at the end with no problem.

"Only the strongest will survive.
Lead me to heaven when we die."

reply

I'll have to agree Tommy Cotter was my fav too.

reply

Marion Frank Stokes. Jon Stewart is my hero. But then, I adored the characters in this movie. Second would have to be Sheldon (ultimate sweet good guy), then Randolph, Nora, and that cute little girl that stopped Randolph from burning.

Stewie Griffin is the bastard son of Hey Arnold!

reply

Randolph all the way. Reminds me of Krusty.

besides, the bar gang at the beggining that cheered when their bar appeared in the news had me laughing for ten minutes.

have a *beep* nice day :) bitch

Me too. I thought that was a riot.

It's an interesting psychological phenomenon.

Smoochy was definitely my favorite character in the film as well. I thought Edward Norton was brilliant in this film.
