Unlawful Assembly?

I'm not pro-Nazi in any way, nor am I up on New Jersey's laws on the subject but I thought in the US freedom of expression meant you could hold Nazi rallies. So what if anything were the Nazis doing that was illegal? I know it's just a movie but I just thought this might merit discussion.

"I mean, really, how many times will you look under Jabba's manboobs?"

Yeah I thought exactly the same thing. Apparently it is a real thing if a threat of violence is perceived from the gathering. Technically Nazis would have free speech, but I can see this law as a good way of getting around having them rally.

The Unlawful Assembly was one of the worst parts of this already bad film. The only way anything could be done against a private nazi rally is if there was clear calls for violence and hate crimes.

I'm watching the movie right now and had to log on to see if anyone else found that part upsetting. I'm glad others feel the same way!
To hell with Nazis, but here in the USA they deserve the same rights as the rest of us.
