The difference between Critics and General moviegoers
This movie was to me anyway, funny well made but not the best. But worthy of watching a few times. I thought Robin and Norton were both great. I think where this movie went wrong with Hollywood critics, is they can't take a joke directed at the industry. Look we all secretly think it would be hilarious if the stuffed costume children's shows were ran by less than decent individuals, but Hollywood balked when they saw Charity's being mocked for not being all they claimed to be. They were fine with the Nazi jokes and never complain about that, but god forbid you throw Charity's in the fire. You can't say Charity and cut throat in the same sentence and not get ridiculed. Hell this movies mocking of Charity's isn't even that bad, it's not stating Charity is a bad thing, it's mocking people who use the guise of charity as a way of money and power. Hollywood usually likes dark comedy's I see no reason why this was too dark for them, as they have Championed some way darker Comedy's than this. Critics hate this movie, imdb does not love it but at least gives it a reasonable average I think it deserves. Personally I cracked up more in the 1st hour of this than the entirety of both Hangover films.
