Death to Smoochy ~ 'Unusual'?

I must admit I had little faith that I would enjoy this movie after reading the description, but I was mildly surprised.
Ed Norton is excellent, Robin Williams does a good job, and Catherine Keener: was she just SEXY in this movie, or what?
Never heard of her before, but I'll be watching for her...she did a great job in this one, too.
To me, the plot was rather stupid/exaggerated..but then again, I guess it was a 'black comedy', so nothing unexpected there.
IMDb rates in 6.5...and that's generous. I'd say a 5 of 10 is tops in my books!
It's not great, but 'different'....or 'unusual'!

You might also enjoy Ms. Keener's work in the 1995 dramedy Living in Oblivion.
