Robin, the Rainbow Riot!!!
Being a huge fan of another "rainbow" character Rob is famous for playing, he was PHENOMENAL in this role as a darker version!!! I didn't know he could dance so well either!!!
shareIt looked to me like they all took dancing/skating lessons for this movie. That was a good idea, because it comes off very well. And of course it doesn't hurt to have Elvis Stojko doing the real skating stunts.

Robin Williams did not really skate much in this, you can see him faking it on a motion rig in the making-of featurette.
He did do his own dancing, the quality of which reveals actual talent, as well as some professional choreography, and probably some training.
Ice skating is just too risky for stars in a movie. Jon Heder broke his ankle filming Blades of Glory (2007).
