Was it just me or did Robin William's character have a New Yorkish accent at the beginning of the film which seems to disappear about a third of the way into the movie, and then he just speaks with his normal voice? It didn't bother me, just thought it was odd.
shareI watch Robin Williams movies with subtitles just because he "HAD" (Silently sniffles from crying earlier) a habit of talking too fast for me sometimes and i do think it the accent drop was on purpose because the subtitles even say; Accent Drops before he gives his lines.

His character was insane, brilliant movie, and the scene in the limo were he seems to go through 5 accents all most killed me from laughter
