UK release

Does anyone out there know why this film, released in the USA 2 years ago and shown on Sky movies, is now getting a full theatrical releae?

i've already seen it (and taped it) in the comfort of my own home, so why would i spend £7 to see it again?

I know that's so weird, I saw it on Sky Movies for the first time, then saw Eddie Izzard on Jonathon Ross promoting this film, kinda useless giving it a theatrical release after its been on sky movies so many times.

I too noticed that the film is being released here in the UK sometime this month & also wondered where the logic was in this as I first saw the film about a year ago on Sky TV & whilst I could possibly watch it again (in the comfort of my own home) I most certainly would not pay to see it at the cinema.
I personally cannot see it doing very well here as it's up against too much high profile competition at the moment & besides (& not wishing to sound patronising of course) I don't think the average person in the street will have heard (nor particularly care either) about the mysterious death of Thomas Ince-Much less pay hard earned money to see a film about it.

Yeh I totally agree with you. I was going to buy it on DVD because I'm a Kirsten Dunst fan, but then I saw it was coming on Sky Movies so watched it there instead. I mean the movie was good, but I don't understand why they're giving it a theatrical release considering a lot of blockbusters are coming out, the movie isn't exactly going to draw a huge audience.

When is it going to get released in the UK? I am a Kirsten Dunst fan and have not had the opportunity to see this film.
