When I originally rented this movie a couple of years ago, that version was rated PG-13. However, I watched a version last night of which I'm not sure what the rating was on it (it was unmarked), and there was a scene where one of the two flapper girls (or whatever they were supposed to be) pulls down the top of her dress and completely exposes her breasts. I don't recall seeing this when I watched the PG-13 version. Other than that scene, there really wasn't anything else that would warrant an R rating for this version. There was no other nudity, the language was still pretty tame by today's standards in film, and the one scene of violence where Ince gets shot was no more graphic. The only other thing that might have given it an R-rating was a scene where they're smoking marijuana -- I can't recall if that was shown in the first version I watched, though.
