A sort of strange connection
Being a huge Chaplin fan I've been dying to see this film for quite a while, but right off the bat I noticed something a little odd. In the bio-pic "Chaplin" with Robert Downey jr. Chaplins first line of the movie is "Oh George, don't be so melodramatic." and in this film one of Cary Elwes's first lines the first time we see his character is "Don't be so melodramatic George!"
Anyone know if this was done, and if so why, on purpose? Or is it just a random coincidence?
"There's a mechanical snake in the sky."
"Shoot it."
"Not yet, I want to study its habbits."
