Randeep Hooda played the "idiot", not the first guy to dance/the guy being a jerk ordering the drinks. Anyone know the name of that guy?

randeep was Aditi and Ria's cousin. His parents were CL and the big lady. Ayisha was related to Hemant because they arrived together in the car with his family in the beginning. I believe that he was either his sister or a cousin. I thought the two were related to begin with and was a little taken aback by their mutual attraction. Then on subsequent viewings I realized they are not related at all.

Now I might be mistaking but as far as I understood Rahul, the guy with the broken arm, was Aditi's cousin from her mother's side (CL was Pimmi's, Aditi's mother's brother) and Ayisha was Aditi's and Ria's cousin from their fathers' side (her father was Lalit's and whats-his-name's brother). Ayisha arrived with her parents, who brought whiskey with them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, 'cause I was, at times, quite lost with all the relations.

sofia, his name's randeep hooda and at last notice he was seriously dating former miss universe sushmita sen, just in case you were wondering :-)...and about ayesha, everyone seems to be a bit confused...after watchin the movie more than 30 times, wht i managed to gather is: aditi's dad had three siblings - surinder (ria's dad, who passed away), vijaya (wife of the child molester tej puri), and uday. uday is married to sona and ayesha and little aliya are their daughters. pimmi, aditi's mom, has a brother C.L Chadha who is married to shashi. rahul is their son. so technically ayesha and rahul are related only by marriage, not by blood. don't worry, it's not incest.

Just to add to this, if Umang (the guy who shows up at the wedding late at the end) is Rahul's older brother and is considered marriage material for Ria by the family (they joke about this during the engagement), then they don't consider this degree of relationship incest, as it's the same between Rahul and Ayesha, just switch the fathers in Ria's case.

No it's not incest...it's very simple. Look at it this way -

It would be incest if either one of the parents of Ria were related by blood to either one of the parents of Rahul & Umang.

Surinder <Brother> Lalit <Wife> Pimmi <Brother> CL

| |
Ria(Daughter) Umang(Son)
Ria's father was Surinder (who passed away) and there seems to have been no mention of her mother.
So it's fair to assume that there is no blood relation between Surinder and C.L. or between their wives.

Thus Ria and Umang are not related in any way.
