is this one of the few good indian movies that exist?

Definitely. my Indian friend recommended me years ago but I thought, 'yeah, sure'
but last weekend i watched it and I love it. please recommend me another great Indian movie..

1.Dil Chahta hai (dubbed in english as "Do your thing") nice romantic, comedy and musical film.

2. Rang de basanti (latest blockbuster in India, nice music)

3. Kal ho Na ho (Romance)

4. Satya (dark and based on mumbai underworld)

5.Ab tak chappan (Based on Mumbai Police)

Omkara was really good and I think ranks as one of the best hindi movies I have seen in a while. Besides Monsoon Wedding, I also recommend Rang de Basanti, Munnabhai 1 and 2, Khosla ka Ghosla, as well as Nair's latest film 'The Namesake' which is really a great movie.

If you not watched "Chandni Bar" then I will highly recommend it... Check out the reviews on imdb.. one of my favs.
