Mine was Shefali Shetty as Ria Verma, she was brilliant ^^

I thought it was Dubey (Vijay Raaz) and Tilotoma Shome (Alice), because they were the most convincing stories of love in the movie.

Just because they have the only the love story that you can relate too, doesnt mean they are better actors than the others.

I don't think the poster was saying that the others can't act at all, it's moreso the authenticity of the portrayal that moves me. Whether that is because of the actors or their connection to the characters they play, or that coupled with the genuine story who knows? Isn't the point of this thread to find out who everyone thought gave the best performance in the movie?

And yes, I realize it's years later but I thought it was a good topic in general.

I agree, their's indeed seemed to be the most truthful, most real love story.

I love Ria Verma and the bride's father.

I LOVE this movie. It is so well written and covers so many areas. The thing with the little girl is sad though, and the thing with Ria also. But I love how the Indians always seem to have so much fun!
Dubey and Alice's love story was amazingly sweet, because it shows how love changes Dubey for the better. And I love how he persues her, especially at the end when he has all the flowers outside her door.

I'm not sure what I think about how the bride is cheating on her future husband, especially when he is a married man! But I like how she confesses everything to the groom and doesn't expect him in anyway to forgive her or still take her. But of course he does!

This movie is just the perfect thing to watch at anytime of day and during any mood you may be in

I would say Vijay Raaz was outstanding in the film
There haven't been a single film yet in which Naseer isn't good...

But a unique thing for this film was that everyone performed on an extremly high level...

Nas. Shah and Dubey were the best performers for me - they invited in the viewer with some very good acting - Shah's grasp of spoken punjabi was a classic as well. The 2 also showcased 2 of the many classes of ppl living in one country.
