I would had liked it better if at the end, the younger FBI agent shook Adam's hand and got visions of Adam being the murderer.

Well on one hand they were killing people who had murdered or harmed others. I don't know about the Nurse or FBI agent, but the old man, Fenton, and the skinny woman hater were obvious repeat offenders (ie. Fenton would continue to kill innocent people, the old man would rape/murder more kids, and the skinny dude would beat/rape more women). Doyle was confusing to me, perhaps because he abused his position of authority?

That's why earlier in Doyle's office, Adam was asking him about the photo of his mother. Doyle said she was murdered 2 days after it was taken.
