For years before watching this movie I thought the person on the cover (and star of the film) was Rufus Sewell and not Matthew McConaughey. I was so confused when I realized Sewell isn't even in the movie!

I still think the person on the poster (even though I know it's Matthew McConaughey) looks more like Sewell than McConaughey. Am I alone in this lol?

Same here. It's something about the artwork. If you look closely though, it does indeed look like McConaughey. It's like a magic eye poster!
