Doesn't this movie remind you of Carlito's way a Little Bit. Both Trying to get out. Both wanting to a retire warm Climate. Both for there girl and baby.

The Movie seems like a Rip off. But the movie was good. Just was Too similar.

Worse yet, John Leguizamo was IN Carlito's Way and was the dude who shot Pacino. Agreed, tons of similarities (rip-offs). To add to your list, in both movies just when they thought they were in the clear... bam... narration from beyond the grave.
