La Colombiana wanted Victor to kill Jimmy and he admitted to Jimmy that La Colombiana sent him to kill him. But Victor didn't want to and he told him just to get as far away as possible. Victor knew that if he didn't kill Jimmy then Rafael Menendez would

I thought La Colombiana sent Rafael along as protection. If Victor couldn't kill Jimmy, then Rafael was there to do it. I don't think Vic knew that Rafael was going to be there.
