to rent out all of those places, have all those people at is party, be in that company building and have the logo changed and have access to the room, be talking to those other legitimate stock people at the restaurant, but clothes with a "company card" have legit conversations with just his girlfriend about how he really liked the drug dealer and wanted to work with him... if he was just a con artist.
shareThis is a question that I had. The only answer that I can come up with is that Jack is a professional con-artist working for a bigger organization. At the end of the movie Jack says that he had $120,000. Where was the rest of the money? Jack probably works for an organized company that has a lot of funds.
shareThe bigger question is, how does Jack get Vic 2 mil in clean money after his initial investment? Jack's giving Vic 2 mil to get 4.5 mil down the line? so what, he's gaming him for a balance of 2.5 mil?
Or it could just be a major plot hole.
I think the 2 mil that he gave him was bogus. I mean is he really going to go and cash that check? He was just playing him to get more money. Which he eventually did.
