Motifs in J.S.A.
I found a couple of recurring motifs in the movie. Owls, the lighter and spinning camera angles. Anything else you can think of?
shareRespectfully, although there were a couple of shots of owls, I didn't think they were a motif, per se. I noticed lots of shots that involved window blinds; i.e., the light was coming through blinds onto the actors' faces, making horizontal stripes of light and dark. Were we, the audience, being "blinded" as to what really happened in the shooting incident?
