Sgt.Oh Confession [Spoilers]

This movie is great, I would like to give 10. But I catch 1 flaw [that I think it is], When at the house shooting scene, When Sgt. Oh tells the two south korean soldiers to tell that "kidnapped and escaped", Yeah Sgt. Lee did that storytelling. But why Sgt. Oh said/confess differently ? He said breaking in, isn't he ?

The Sgt. Oh character as he said composure and bravery. You can look it when the south korean soldiers got shocked, Sgt. Oh the only one who still thinks with cold head. And he said the "kidnapped and escaped" idea. So I don't think he will tell the different story.

Can someone explain ?

He would definetly tell a different story. If he were to "confess" to kidnapping a south korean soldier, North Korea would loose face, and he would be in deep trouble. As the swiss man explaines: The peace is kept by hiding the truth. Both sides are happy believing their side of the story, and with nothing being resolved. None of the sides would benefit from the actual truth getting out... Or maby that's exactly what they would?
