Eyes Wide Shut
It is interesting how Tom Cruise wears a mask prominently in this movie when shortly before the making of this film he was in Eyes Wide Shut in which he also wears a mask. In that film his character falls out of love with Nicole Kidman’s character (Kidman was married to Cruise at the time), and in this movie he falls in love with Penelope Cruz’s character (Cruz was dating him at the time).
