Question

Saw the movie, was just as I expected...a rip off of the first...but worth a watch considering I downloaded it and didn't pay a dime. I was gonna waste away that much time of my life anyway.

But in this installation of the series, what happened to Fred Ward who reprised his role in Tremors II: Aftershocks? Do they explain this? It's been a while, I am just curious.

They said that valentine (Kevin Bacon, from first movie) had departed after cashing out on the graboid thing in the second flick...I bought that cause it seemed like something his character would do...Hell I'd have done the same thing!

I liked Fred though...the two were great with their rock/paper/scissors thing, and I sadly miss that duo.

And nothing beats the death scene in the end of the first 'CAN YOU FLY SUCKER?! CAN YOU FLY?!' *SPLAT!*

What happened to earl... simple... it was explained very quickly in an early scene in Tremors 3

Burt: Are you trying to turn the valley into an amusement park?
Jodi: Hey, it worked for Earl and Grady

So, there you have it... Remember, at the end of #2, Grady mentions that the Mexican gov't owes them a sh*t pile of cash and that he and Earl should open an amusement park with their combined earnings...

I guess the did!

Some people never pay attention.
One thing though. Earl never said it was Val who earnt off the Graboid machine in this house. He said "Well somebody did. Sure wasn't me"
Grady "Well you must have got a precentage?"
Earl "I should have got a lawyer".

Plus "Val married a good woman. Why would he wanna die!?" That's why Earl and Val parted.
And yes after the second movie, Earl and Grady probably built up their theme park ... which worked, (which could have been Earl's big 3rd chance) says Jodi in number 3.

I assumed Val married Rhonda because Earl says, "Val married a good woman, why'd he wanna risk his neck" in the second movie. I assumed Earl and Grady opened that theme park Grady had liked talking about because of what Jodi said when Bert returned. They were standing at the counter and Jodi had asked Bert if he had been able to bring back any shreiker parts. Bert made some comment about her turning the place into a theme park because of all the graboid and shreiker merchandise around, and she said, "It worked for your friends, Earl and Grady." And, at that point she showed Bert the pamphlet for 'Desert Jack's Graboid Adventures'.
