Cam'Ron?

I'm planning on renting this film, but I was wondering if Cam'Ron really does as good of a job as everyone says.

Is he up to 2Pac's level as Bishop or Eminem as Rabbit?

Holla back!

He did very good for some of his first roles as an actor and the movie was well .............................DEEEEEEEEEP. Why in the blue blazes of HE double hockey sticks had to put the no goood of an actor NORE in it Im not hating Im just saying.......

reply

lol I agree that Nore can't act but luckily he only has about a minute in the film. I finally saw the movie and yep Cam'Ron is damn good for his first swing at acting. I especially like his reaction after he pops the guy in the a$$. I liked the way he quickly listened to Ace. I hope I see some more of Cam'Ron in the future.

this role was made just for first time acting rappers, just like every other rap movie.
was Bishop that much different from Tupacs personality? no
Busta's character in higher learning? no
DMX in Belly? no

the first role is always easiest for rappers because the character is just like the rapper already is.

cam did a good job in the movie, but it is no where near tupac

reply

not pac yet, but much better then eminem, i was really impressed, i wasnt expecting him to be so good

What's that track suit called which camron is wearin' while hitting that guy who comes in a car and stops to ask if he has any work for him, he even says this ''calvin got u brothers shook''

Then right at the end they show a couple of rappers making a music video in that, the guy who's throwin money in the air he is wearin the same kind a track suit camron is, a lot of amercian hiphop stars wear those tracksuits. ghost face killa is wearing that tracksuit in protect your neck( the jump off).

Can any one pleaze pleaze tell me what is the name off that track suit, who makes them kinda tarcksuits and were can i get them from.

Pleaze tell me it will mean a lot.

Thanks a lot

Hyper..haven't seen the film in a while..BUT..think it was a "dapper dan " suit

he was harlem tailor who used to make gucci. louis vuitton and other designer "knockoff' suits...think camron was wearing one of these in that scene..had a lot of little logos on it, right?

yeah...like a gucci or something.....look at the cover of "eric b and rakim's" first album...that was very popular look then....when film was set...

dapper dan no longer exists....

reply

Yeah the one with a lot of little logos on it.

do you know were to get them from or any web site that still got them on display know what mean.

thanks

it's a very old school look that isn't really rocked anymore....

depending on where you live.....you can find a tailor to make you one...
take the album covers(photos of erick b and rakim) and ask them to hook it up...

It's really not that hard for Cam to play the role well. He plays the exact same role he personifies with his music. You can't hate on NORE though. He wasn't meant to be acting well. They had him in there being NORE and that's what he did. He's always fun to see. Son is jokes. Plus, if you see State Property 2 you know that the boy NO is no joke in front of the camera.

We'll see how Cam does in Killa *beep* looks kinda aight...who knows...I saw the preview and it looked mad funny even though it's supposed to be serious. Too bad Juelz Santana looks like a joke in it.

reply

Yea..Cam'ron basically did a good job playing the role because he seemed to have played himself. He has that same kind of personality and swagger in real life.

I still haven't seen Killa Season. I've heard mixed reviews...

He was a lot better than 50 cent in his first movie.

reply

Not close to pac, but better than em...

reply

I've seen Killa Season Cam shows he can't act in it. I like the movie though I wonder when part 2 is coming out.

reply

Cam'ron did real well for his first movie. it was better than em as rabbit and 50 cent as Marcus. as far as comparing to Pac, Bishops role was bigger in Juice than Cam'rons role in Paid in Full, so u got to see more of Bishop and Pac was pertraying a crazy, grimey killer. Cam'ron's role was a sneaky, lying, drug dealer who wanted to be greedy which led to killing and setting up his friends. both roles was great but Pac had a greater presence on screen to me.
