In the movie they were selling grams for $50. Ace said Calvin was selling for $100 a gram so he sold his at $50.

nah homie sounds like ur payin way more. 35-40 pounds converts to $70-80. Around here , in 2008, a decent g of white is $50-60. haha what, u think prices here haven't changed since 86?

$50 a g sounds pretty steep to me. Damn, the normal 8-Ball goes for $80 and thats 2.5 more grams. However, this was just a movie and I dont think they were too worried of getting the exact prices down.
