Why such a low rating?
This movie was so much better than the second one. It should at least get a 7 out of 10 because I liked Cage and Peter Fonda in this one. Not to mention Eva Green looked hot in this movie, for her age! And Wes Bentley as Blackheart also gave a good performance. The shot of him and his three fallen angels in long overcoats was quite nice as they remind one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Yes, the story did drag a bit, and sometimes the acting was over the top (Sam Elliot was a bit annoying, I could barely understand him, and I lived in Texas for two years!!!) but the movie did have its moments where it was good, like when JB turns into the Ghost Rider for the first time, and when the cop attacks the Ghost Rider and dislocates his jawbone, that was quite funny and interesting.
All in all, this movie deserves a bit more. And I'm a non-Christian so I just looked upon all the "Christianity elements" in this movie as something of academic interest.
