Great until the damn ending
Just like anything King does. UGH!
shareIt doesn't beat the stupid spider monster from IT!
shareI agree, if they would have just described Pennywise's true form like in the novel it would have been more freaky. That damn spider in the book scared the hell out of me.

that was a stupid ending!
He is so good about establishing characters, setting up the story, and moving the plot along but then for some reason he seems to always blow the ending. Just don't understand it.
This mini-series has some flaws, e.g. cheesy skeletal ghosts and the final escape, but I enjoyed it overall.
I have yet to see a Stephen King based movie that has good ending. The Night Flier had good ending, but I've heard it's different then in his original story. Same goes for Shining and Misery.
Storm of the Century had to be one of the biggest disappointments for me, interesting story, good setups, then ending a huge letdown.

I agree w/you about Storm of the Century. The ending was honestly stupid!
I have.
Misery
Dolores Claiborne
Cujo
The Mist (ending better than the book)
Sleepwalkers
Dreamcatcher
Carrie
I don't see anything wrong with the ending.
