After Marie drives Bourne to Paris, he could have left once Bourne paid her the amount he promised. Instead she stayed once she saw his fancy apartment and the nice clothes. Marie probably thought she was in with a chance with this man with no memory.

Her feminine gold digging instinct kicked in and she paid for it in the long run.

wrong..... she flirted with him in the car, before they go up in the apartment.

she was all alone in the world, and here she found someone she liked and wanted to be with.
she was a good person

Marie was not all alone in the world. She had a family who we get to see later on in the film. By contrast, Bourne was the one all alone, as he could not remember who was or where he was from.
