deserves higher than 7.9?

I was thinking the same thing, but at the same time not really. I'd like it to be an 8.0 (putting it in with the HUGE number of films that could argue for a spot at the bottom of the top 250) because it really has held up. It still feels relevant and it is one of the few action movies that slipped into and hasn't yet slipped out of the public conscience. It established itself as a franchise, and it sure seems like it had an effect on the direction the James Bond franchise went with.

That being said, 7.9 vs 8.0... who cares right? And the reason I like it there is because I do have some quibbles with it. It's not perfect, I just think it's aged better than anyone expected. It's a damn good action movie.

It's the best movie of the trilogy, so it definitely should have a higher rating.

It is the best Bourne film so far - so yes, it certainly deserves a higher rating.
